Renaming fonts

Altsoft FTMaster contains an external tool for automatic font renaming. It works as a batch processing program allowing you to choose algorithm of naming fonts in the specified folder and its subfolders.

The font mask specifies parameters of the font name template:

  • %FN retrieves the full font name of every font to be processed.
  • %FT retrieves the font type (TrueType, Type1, Type2, Type42, Multiple Master) of every font to be processed.
  • %FE retrieves the font file extension of every font to be processed.
  • Any other text in the "Mask" edit box will be copied to every font file name without any changes.

Note: This feature is fully functional in the free evaluation version.
