Depending on how you use our website, we may process:

• Technical request and security information, including IP addresses, request timestamps and browser information in hosting logs.
• Privacy-conscious website analytics, including page visits, referrals and website interaction events.
• Billing details provided during checkout, including names, email addresses, company details, billing addresses and tax identifiers.
• Payment status and transaction references supplied by our payment provider.
• Information needed to provide package downloads and verify purchase entitlements.
• Email correspondence and information voluntarily submitted through support or licensing enquiries.

We do not require an account or registration to download the free Evaluation edition.

The XML2PDF SDK does not transmit documents, usage telemetry or application data to Alt-Soft.

We process personal information only for legitimate and identified purposes:

Contract performance: Processing purchases, delivering software, providing receipts, verifying entitlements and responding to contractual support requests.

Legal obligations: Maintaining required accounting, invoicing and tax records.

Legitimate interests: Operating and securing our website, investigating technical problems, preventing abuse and understanding website performance through privacy-conscious analytics.

Consent: Where applicable law requires consent for a particular optional activity, we request it separately.

We do not sell personal information or use it for behavioral advertising.

We use Umami Cloud to measure website traffic and interactions, including Evaluation download clicks and checkout-button clicks.

The analytics setup is intended to operate without advertising cookies or cross-site advertising profiles.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, payment references, tax identifiers or private download tokens to analytics.

Analytics counts do not establish whether software has been installed or whether a purchase has been completed.

We use service providers to operate the website and fulfill orders, including:

• SiteGround for website hosting and associated infrastructure.
• Stripe for payment processing and related billing functions.
• Resend for transactional email delivery, where configured.
• Umami Cloud for website analytics.

These providers process information according to their applicable roles, agreements and privacy terms.

Card payment details are entered directly into Stripe’s payment environment rather than being stored by Alt-Soft.

Some service providers may process personal information outside the European Economic Area.

Where required, such processing is subject to an applicable adequacy decision or legally recognized safeguards, including contractual transfer mechanisms.

We retain records according to their purpose:

• Accounting and tax information for the periods required by applicable law.
• Purchase and licence records for as long as reasonably necessary to evidence continuing licence rights and meet legal obligations.
• Support correspondence for operational and legal recordkeeping, generally up to 24 months after the last substantive interaction unless longer retention is justified.
• Website analytics according to the retention settings of the analytics service.
• Technical and security logs for operationally necessary periods, subject to hosting-provider retention settings.

Records may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups expire under their retention schedule.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal information.

You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.

You may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection or another competent EU data-protection authority.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including restricting access to payment and fulfillment systems.

No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

We may update this Notice to reflect changes in our website, legal obligations or service providers. The current version will be published here.
